Adam “Edge” Copeland To Undergo Neck Surgery

edge-2

WWE Hall of Famer Adam “Edge” Copeland will undergo neck surgery on Thursday that will keep him from being publicly active for some time. Copeland responded to a Twitter question that doctors have told him that the procedure would not make it possible to return to the ring.

Copeland retired as WWE World champion when the company doctors ruled that he would not be able to continue competing due to the damage suffered by his neck. He last wrestled at Wrestlemania 27, defeating Alberto Del Rio. Copeland was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame the following year as the headline inductee during Wrestlemania 28. His contract with the company expired earlier this year and he has turned down offers to sign a new deal since.

We here at PWMania.com wish Edge at quick and speedy recovery.
