During the most recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer provided more details regarding Alexa Bliss’ injury. The longtime pro wrestling journalist noted that the former WWE Raw Women’s Champion is currently suffering from multiple concussions, which is why WWE hasn’t cleared her to compete in the ring.
Bliss was originally scheduled to face Trish Stratus and Lita in a tag match at WWE Evolution but was pulled after suffering a concussion just days before the show.
Then, Bliss was revealed as the captain for Team Raw at Survivor Series in a non-wrestling capacity last week. Bliss hasn’t competed in a WWE ring for the past few weeks due to a concussion.
Meltzer added that WWE is very cautious with Bliss and there’s no word yet on when she would be cleared to return to in-ring competition.
