Animal’s Son Signs Major NFL Deal, Kassius Ohno On His Finisher, The Miz Appearance
- Don’t expect James Laurinaitis, the son of WWE Hall of Famer Animal, to pop up in WWE anytime soon. The NFL’s St. Louis Rams have signed James to a 5 year $41.5 million extension. The deal runs through 2017 and includes a $23.5 million guarantee.
- WWE NXT star Kassius Ohno (the former Chris Hero), who uses a discus elbow smash as his finishing move and calls it the KO and had the following to say on Twitter this weekend:
“A Rolling Elbow minus the ‘roll’ is simply an elbow. Discus throwers spin in a circle to build momentum & increase power. The trick is maintaining accuracy as the elbow connects. If done right, the move is incredibly effective. Can’t fault someone for utilizing such a devastating maneuver. Besides, you never know where that certain someone may have picked up the technique. Tanaka? Misawa? Or… My dream is to carry on the legacy of the Elbow from Mitsuharu Misawa just as he carried it from Jumbo Tsuruta and brought it to new heights”
