Austin Says “Tough Enough” Window Is Closed, Sammartino On Hansen Breaking His Neck, SD
- Promoting his latest movie The Package, which was released on DVD and Blu-ray on Tuesday, WWE Hall of Famer “Stone Cold” Steve Austin was asked about the status of Tough Enough. “I think that window is closed,” remarked Austin. – On April 26, 1976, Bruno Sammartino suffered a neck fracture in a match against Stan Hansen at Madison Square Garden, when Hansen improperly executed a body slam and dropped Sammartino on his head.
