Backstage Latest On Daniel Bryan’s WWE Contract, Speculation On WWE NXT Stars Debuting At Fastlane

– There has been speculation that Daniel Bryan may have used retirement as a way to get out of his WWE contract, perhaps as a way to once again wrestle on the indies. We’ve noted how most people believe Bryan is staying retired for his health and Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter shot that speculation down on his website. Meltzer said:

“If you think Bryan outsmarted Vince by retiring to end the freeze on his contract, well, I can tell you for sure you’re wrong on that one. Retirement had no affect on the terms of his deal.”

– This is not confirmed to happen but there have been a lot of rumors and speculation on WWE NXT Superstars Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady possibly making their main roster debuts at WWE Fastlane tonight in the segment with Edge, Christian and WWE Tag Team Champions The New Day. PWMania.com reported a few weeks back that there were main roster creative plans being worked on for Enzo, Cass and Carmella to debut but a post-WrestleMania 32 call-up was more likely.
