Backstage News On Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker, Criticism Over Lesnar’s Booking

Published On 04/02/2014 | By Staff | News

There are people within WWE who believe that Brock Lesnar should have been booked differently and as more of a threat to The Undertaker, since the only point Lesnar did anything to Taker was the go-home angle on RAW this week, and that was still a sneak up from behind distraction with the announcers calling Lesnar a coward.

The original feud between Taker and Lesnar that was talked about in 2010 had Taker proposing that Lesnar beat him to end The Streak, although that was never seriously considered, thinking it would be the right thing for business. Feelings on The Streak have obviously changed since then.

Vince McMahon made the decision that in the build for this match, Taker never gets touched. He was smart enough to change that rule for the final build this week on RAW.

Breaking…the the right thing..for business you say..? Taker is the only reason now quarter to half of the fans tune in for wrestlemania each year…

yeah, FAKE WWE FANS say this shit stuff, I can say that the pass 4 WMs all Taker’s match stole the show, even it was not the main event! The Undertaker is PART OF WM. and the Streak will LIVE 4GOOD

Well i’ve got some bad news for ya……

  • Bryan Thomas

I really don’t care for the streak anymore. However, if anyone should beat taker at WM, it should be a guy who’s going to be the next top heel.

    • TheUndertaker21

NO ONE will beat the Streak Pal! bad news for many of this kind!

      • Bryan Thomas

What do you have to say now?

I thought they didn’t do lesnar/Taker last years because it could essentially be seen as ‘Lesnar beating up an old man’. You need an up and comer to break the streak, not a Has Been or an Almost Was. Taker’s streak should be used to set up the next or current generation. Problem is I can’t think of many on the roster who seem worthy or a good fit for beating him. Dolph would be awesome but Dolph beating Taker seems…odd. Same with Barrett, Del Rio or Bryan. Maybe Wyatt but I wonder if they see him in the ‘long haul’ situation

This was tried. and it was said that with the Unpredictability of Talent being released for whatever reason Wellness Policy, this or that, Etc they all cannot be trusted enough to take this ball and roll with it. Because if someone did and end up getting fired or asked for their release it would of been a slap in the face to Everyone.

This post is bogus! The two never were on good terms back then and it was clear to see from UFC coincidence. Taker has given Lesnar enough in the past to catapult his pro wrestling career. In 2010, letting Lesnar go over doesn’t make any sense.
