Backstage News On Undertaker Losing At WWE WrestleMania XXX, His WWE Future, Reaction

There was a huge “bullshit” chant that started up after Brock Lesnar defeated The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXX last night after everyone realized what happened. It wasn’t until the 21-1 graphic came up that everyone realized The Streak was over. The chant quieted down and most of the crowd just sat there stunned. Taker did get the standing ovation and a “thank you Taker” chant from most but some did boo while this was going on. Multiple sources report that fans were seen leaving and several were seen crying. Taker’s loss really brought the live crowd down a notch and they didn’t seem to get back into things until well into the main event.

We noted earlier today that Taker was taken to a local hospital last night for fear of a concussion and a neck injury. We also noted that Taker losing was the original plan. This was kept from just about everyone but betting odds started to change shortly before the show began.

It’s said that this was indeed The Undertaker’s decision. We noted before that back in 2010, Taker wanted Lesnar to be the one to end The Streak. This is not confirmed yet but the impression was given backstage that Taker is done. No word yet on how this changes a potential match with Sting at WrestleMania 31.

My first wrestlemania I saw paid for and saw and it had a shocking moment that no one will ever forget (Wrestling Fans that is) I’m proud to have seen it such great television!

Agreed. This was a fantastic Mania and while I wish the Beast vs Streak had a better build up.. Taker went out on his own terms. I also really respect both guys for continuing with the match even though Taker was far fro 100%, Props to Brock for protecting him and still selling everything Taker did to him up to the 1-2-3

Agreed, Just wish the buildup & execution was more thought out, Bryan & HHH was months in the making, while Lesnar & Taker had history. The plans were completely rushed and seemed completely mis-matched, with Taker getting the upper hand on Lesnar the supposed monster heel. The end of the streak should be an monumental culmination with months of planing. Either way, Undertaker was obviously in no shape to continue wrestling with his wear & tear over the years, and I do believe it was his final call after all. This and Bryan finally succeeding in his quest for gold. Made this the best WM in 6 years for me.

if i was undertaker I would of lost too, betting odds were 12 to 1 for Brock to win, I’d say hell yeah I’ll take my Wrestlemania paycheck from last year and stick it all on Brock and make 12 times my money. Who wouldn’t do that!

  • Joshua Williams

Well. Wrestlemania is all about providing unforgettable moments. It wasn’t the greatest match, and I certainly would of liked to see a different outcome, but I will never forget the day that the streak ended.

Taker is my childhood hero, I respect his decision, but at the same time it’s a SHIT Decision, he was humiliated, he couldn’t even stand up, that was the worst match of Taker I’ve Ever watched in my entire life, the match could have ended as the way of Taker did when he made HBK Retire, then they HUGGED, but last night what happened ??? I saw a powerless person inside the ring, Shame on WWE to let that happen to Taker, I don’t mind you Vince and HHH, as you don’t care to LEGACY, all you care about is something called MONEY $$, Shame on you.

If they cared about money they wouldn’t have ended it idiot. It’s over. I’m shocked and pissed too but crying ain’t gonna do anything. It was a moment for the ages. I got to see it end live. Even though I don’t agree it’s still history

MY intentions are not to agitate you people. I actually enjoyed WM but other than that wwe has sucked for a while to me. That and the fact that i get scolded for my personal opinions about guys who i think are overrated just really make me not care anymore and you get so comfortable with shit. BUT WE ALL KNOW THAT WWE MAKES BONE HEAD DECISIONS ALOT OF TIMES. I mean look how cena beat bray last night. And thet match really get a reaction.

never stop complaining . Typical mark

      • Bryan Thomas

Hey you people took the cake last night. How many “i’m done with wwe” posts i’ve seen last night lol. Those same people will be the reason why RAW’s ratings will be up lol

Wm 30 was a great show. I’m happy it was Lesnar and not some newbie who ended the streak. For those who says it should have been used to build some new superstar. Well why didn’t Flair and HBK do that with their last matches. The fact that they didn’t hug and made up in the ring. That taker staying in character all the way. Like he’s done since he became undertaker. The weak build up just made the outcome more shocking. Anyway enjoy the huge moment cesaro got when he bodyslammed bigshow over the top rope. That was awesome. Now DB got the title and he’s wm moment all the smarks can start tearing him down.
