- As PWMania.com previously reported, Dave Bautista was in talks to play “Drax The Destroyer” in Marvel Studios’ Guardians Of The Galaxy feature film. Hollywood Reporter confirmed that Bautista is now signed for the role.

James Gunn (Movie 43, Super) is attached to direct the project, and Chris Pratt (Zero Dark Thirty, Movie 43) is said to star in the film. The movie is scheduled to be released in the summer of 2014.

Michael Moody is trying to raise $15,000 to complete the production which will go towards such investments as traveling and production costs, an HD video camera with better audio capabilities and purchasing news reel footage from the major networks.
