Batista Reveals Why He Is Doing MMA, New WWE ’13 Video Featuring CM Punk
- In an interview with MMAJunkie, Dave Batista revealed why he decided to enter the MMA while he was promoting his debut fight this weekend.
“I know some people have a hard time understanding it. I’m obviously never going to make the money that I made in the WWE, and it’s not like I think I’m going to go become UFC champion. I just want the experience. I don’t have any ulterior motive. I just want to do it because I love it so much.”
Batista is currently without an opponent for Saturday’s fight in Providence, R.I. His original opponent, Rashid Evans, has been scratched from the fight.
– THQ released a TV spot for the “WWE ’13” video game which features CM Punk in a “revolutionary” political speech setting. WWE’s voice-over announcer promotes the Attitude Era mode and “the largest roster” of stars ever compiled for a WWE video game. You can check it out embedded in the video below.
