Batista Reveals Why He Thinks CM Punk Will Return To WWE & Talks Roman Reigns’ Future

- Batista recently spoke with Digital Spy to promote the Guardians of the Galaxy movie. He commented on CM Punk returning to WWE:

“I know for a fact that he loves professional wrestling. I couldn’t see him taking a step down and wrestling for a lesser organization. Unless he spent some time in Japan, I just don’t see it. I think eventually he’ll come back. I think he belongs there. I think the fans really love him and miss him. I think he loves it and misses it just as much. I’m really not sure why he left. He’ll be back, I would think that he would be back. I think it would be kind of crazy if he didn’t go back.”

Batista also predicted that Roman Reigns will be pushed “to the sky” and will be the first member of The Shield to get a major title.

To what Batista said about not understand the random chants, I see both sides
    1. If you are a fan and at show wanting to watch, then yes I agree
    but the thing is
    2. I would go to a show (even though we all know WWE is bad but has its good moments) and more than likely there will be shit most people don’t care about happening, so thats where the random chants come in. Almost all those “random” chants come in when the crowd doesnt care about that match.

Yeah but think about what those chants are doing to those performers in the ring. Regardless if what you think of the creative angles, those performers are (usually) busting their ass and taking bumps for you. And people chant “boring” at those performers because of the way they’ve been booked by other people? Oh Bravo. Way to show how much you love professional wrestling.

I agree with you, Luke. Don’t disrespect the lower to mid card guys, because they work just as hard as the top level ones…some might argue they work even harder.

Punk mentioned at a comic-con event (i think) that he plans to retire at age 34-35, no later.

And that was back in 2011-12.

If Punk is as straight up as he portrays himself, then i think we’ve seen the last of him for active wrestling

Exactly, he wanted to go out with a bang( main event wrestle mania) they offered him hhh at mania to which punk said “fuck this I’m going home”
He won’t be coming back unless he feels guilty for screwing over the mcmahons which I don’t think he does
