- Former WWE Divas Champion Beth Phoenix issued the following statement this morning on Twitter:
“Thank you to everyone that helped me thru the airport this morning. Will keep every posted on MRI and xray results. Believe me…nothing hurts worse than my heart right now after the loss and even worse thought of missing competition. But i have been bere before, and if there is one thing Beth Phoenix knows how to do, it’s rise from the ashes. The title will be mine again. #unbreakable.”
– A message was written on Wade Barrett’s Twitter Monday evening from his “lawyer.” The lawyer says he has taken over Barrett’s Twitter account for the foreseeable future. They wrote:
“Due to a number of factors, Mr. Barrett has signed the administration of this account over to his attorney for the foreseeable future. Mr. Barrett will be making no further comment at this stage. Regards, Peter Lazarou, Esq.”
– David Otunga was not at Monday’s RAW Supershow from Detroit because he was with fiancee Jennifer Hudson and her family. Hudson testified on Monday at the trial of the man accused of killing her mother, brother and 7 year old nephew. Hudson is expected to sit through the entire trial so it’s possible Otunga will be there with her daily. Otunga was mentioned in the media yesterday but articles said he was best known for his time on VH1 and had no mention of WWE.
For what it’s worth, Otunga indicated he would indeed be at Sunday’s Extreme Rules from his hometown of Chicago. Otunga tweeted on Monday:
“Family. Faith. Strength. Justice.”
