Beth Phoenix Finishes Up With WWE – “Fired” On Raw
Beth Phoenix finished up with WWE on this week’s Raw. As the storyline goes, Phoenix lost to AJ Lee but Vickie Guerrero came out and ordered the match restarted, which was then won by Phoenix.
During a backstage segment, Vickie Guerrero went on to “fire” Phoenix for not doing the job correctly the first time.
In reality, Phoenix’s WWE contract is up at the end of this month and she chose not to re-sign.
Phoenix made her WWE debut in 2006 as an ally to Trish Stratus during her feud with Mickie James. She was en route to passing Maryse Ouellet as the longest reigning WWE Divas Champion in history earlier this year, however lost the belt a week before she could break the record to Nikki Bella on the April 23rd episode of Raw.
