Bob Backlun Returns To WWE, New Interactive RAW Features

- Bob Backlund made his return to WWE on Monday’s Raw Supershow. Backlund made Heath Slater tap out in the Crossface chickenwing, after Slater lost his Money in the Bank qualifying match against Sin Cara. Backlund’s appearance is part of WWE bringing in past talent to celebrate the build to the 1000th episode of Raw on July 23, 2012.

- A commercial aired during RAW that hyped the interactive features coming to the show, beginning with the 1,000th episode on July 23rd. The commercial promoted WWE’s Facebook page, Twitter account, YouTube channels and stated “One of the most widespread social networks in the universe rises to a whole new level.” Fans will be able to “help create Raw” and will be encouraged to use Twitter, Shazam and Tout, a new WWE app where fans can record videos and share them on RAW. The concept is called #Rawactive.
