Boxing Match To Take Place At Wrestlemania XXVIII?

BoxingScene.com has a new article online reporting that heavyweight boxer Monte “Two Gunz” Barrett would be open to fighting David Tua a third time at Wrestlemania XXVIII next year in Miami, Florida.

Barrett told the publication he will speak with his good friend John Cena about facilitating the match which would would be under professional wrestling rules. He says while he hasn’t spoken to Cena verbally, they have exchanged text-messages and Cena has been talking with WWE officials about it.

Barrett, who is currently dealing with a broken jaw suffered in his fight against Tua this weekend, says he wouldn’t mind having the match in a steel cage. Tua is a member of the Anoa’i family and is the nephew of WWE Hall of Famer Afa Anoa’i.
