Bret Hart Appears At Royal Rumble PPV, Rumble Attendance, Carlito Not In The Rumble, More

Bret Hart

- Bret Hart made a cameo at Royal Rumble in a backstage segment with World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio and Ricardo Rodriguez. Hart told Del Rio he reminded him of a “Mexican Bret Hart.” Del Rio said Hart reminded him of a “Canadian Alberto Del Rio.”

- The announced attendance for Sunday’s WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view was 15,103. The show was a legitimate sellout from the US Airways Center in Phoenix, Arizona.

- Carlito isn’t returning to be a surprise entrance in the 30-man Royal Rumble match. He was seen at the WWE hotel over the weekend in Phoenix, but is not backstage at the Royal Rumble PPV, according to PWInsider. Although he was expected to appear on the PPV, that is not looking likely.

- Tommy Dreamer, who was mentioned in creative meetings as a surprise, noted on Twitter he was in Poughkeepie, NY. Unless he’s throwing stuff out there to swerve people, don’t expect him there either.
