Brock Lesnar Has Surgery; Possible Return Date
Former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar underwent surgery on Friday related to his bout with the diverticulitis disease that took him off the UFC 131 card.
According to Dana White, Lesnar had 12 inches of his colon removed.
White had the following to say about the surgery:
“He feels great. He said he’s a little sore, but the operation was a huge success.” White stated that he is hopeful that Lesnar can “be back by the first of the year.”
