- Expect lots of political parodies on WWE TV in the weeks leading up to the Capitol Punishment pay-per-view, and the show itself. WWE has already parodied Barack Obama and are planning on mocking other known politicians.
- WWE Diva AJ Lee will be making her SmackDown debut this Friday night, teaming with Kaitlyn to take on Alicia Fox and Tamina.
- CM Punk’s ring gear that was a tribute to Randy Savage on Monday’s Raw was something that he came up with himself without company officials. Punk went to WWE’s seamstress and had the outfit done up before the show.
- WWE’s Over the Limit pay-per-view this past Sunday at the Key Arena in Seattle, Washington only drew 6,500 fans.
- WWE’s Supershow on Saturday night in Yakima, Washington drew 5,300 fans for $120,000.
- The WWE Smackdown taping on Tuesday, August 9th, 2011 will be held at the Power Balance Pavilion in Sacramento, California.
