WWE GM Update, Legends On RAW, Chris Jericho’s Return Revealed



- Mick Foley made his return to WWE television, making a surprise appearance opening Raw. Foley revealed following John Laurinaitis’s “firing” at No Way Out, he will be the interim GM of Raw and Smackdown for this week. He said that WWE want to use past Raw GMs for the interim role until an official replacement for Laurinaitis is made.

- WWE Hall of Famers Roddy Piper and Wendi Richter also made their return to WWE television on this week’s edition of Raw. The pair were involved in a segment with Raw guest star Cyndi Lauper Monday night. Heath Slater interrupted the segement and ending up receiving a gold record frame shot to the head from Lauper to conclude the segment.

- WWE announced during Monday’s Raw that Chris Jericho will return to WWE next week on Raw. Jericho’s 30-day suspension is coming to an end this weekend, just in time for Raw. While announcing Jericho’s return, WWE announced Fozzy’s upcoming album “Sin and Bones” will be released on August 14, 2012.

Jericho was suspended from WWE for 30 days on May 25, 2012 for “denigrating the Brazilian flag” at a WWE live event in São Paulo on May 24th.
