– World Heavyweight Champion Christian is advertised to make an announcement on this week’s episode of SmackDown.
WWE.com’s synopsis reads: “With World Heavyweight Champion Christian and Randy Orton both set to be in action on SmackDown, the champion says he has a special announcement to make … and WWE COO Triple H will want to hear what he has to say.”
– Savio Vega turns 47 years old today while Fred Ottman (a/k/a Tugboat and Typhoon) turns 55. Also celebrating a birthday today is Roadkill, who turns 35 years old. He briefly appeared on ECW in 2006.
– Brodus Clay defeated All Pro Wrestling talent “Big Country” Jody Kristofferson in a dark match prior to last night’s SmackDown taping in Sacramento, California.
