Christian’s IC Title Rematch, Natalya Pays Tribute To Owen Hart, Mark Henry, HBK & More
- WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz will make his first defense on Friday’s SmackDown against the former champion Christian. The Miz wrote on Twitter:
“Peeps only have themselves to blame for @Christian4Peeps’s loss. His peeps voted for him to defend his title on #Raw1000 #ThanksPeeps”
- Natalya wrestled Divas Champion Layla at Tuesday’s WWE Superstars taping in Kansas City. Natalya wore an Owen Hart pin to pay tribute to him. Owen passed away at the 1999 WWE Over the Edge event from Kansas City.
- Shawn Michaels was asked his thoughts on Damien Sandow after their angle with DX on RAW 1000. Shawn wrote that Sandow “seems like a very nice kid.”
- John Cena vs. John Laurinaitis & Big Show plus CM Punk vs. Daniel Bryan is being advertised for the September 23rd RAW live event in Worcester, Massachusetts.
– Mark Henry will be appearing at the Warren County Farmers Fair in Phillipsburg, New Jersey on July 31st at 5pm. This is next Tuesday night. It looks like Henry is still a few weeks away from returning from injury.
