CM Punk Set For NXT Tapings, More Details On WWE’s New Saturday Morning Show

- WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross announced on Twitter Thursday night that CM Punk will be appearing at the next WWE NXT TV tapings in two weeks at Full Sail University.

“Nice nite @ NXT. Finished 3, wrestling heavy shows in under 2 hrs. @CMPunk here in 2 wks,”

- The CW Network were the ones who originally approached WWE regarding the new Saturday Morning Slam. The show is will run for 30 minutes and feature one match each week, as well as wrestler profiles and some behind-the-scenes footage.

CW Network and WWE are hoping to capitalize on research data that show children, including a healthy contingent of boys younger than 12, make up 22% of the audience for the wrestling group’s core franchises.
