Cross Promotion Between Raw & SmackDown, 80s Star’s Jerky Line
– Eighties WWF star Hillbilly Jim has launched his own line of jerky called “Hillbilly Jim’s Beef and Turkey Jerky.”
– The SmackDown live event on Jan. 9, 2011 will be held at the Knoxville Coliseum in Knoxville, Tennessee. Tickets go on sale Nov. 20, 2010.
– Rey Mysterio was advertised to face The Miz in a match last night on Raw, but was replaced by Big Show. The high-flying wrestler missed weekend live events due to an inner ear imbalance—which is causing him dizziness and nausea.
The angle was conceived due to WWE officials wanting more interaction between the two brands now that Raw and SmackDown are both under the auspices of NBC Universal.
