DDP To Host WWE’s Upcoming “The Best of Nitro” DVD Set

Diamond Dallas Page indicated Thursday on Twitter that he has been chosen to host World Wrestling Entertainment’s upcoming WCW Monday Nitro themed DVD set, The Best of Nitro.

DDP wrote, “IT’s Official! I will Host “The BEST OF NITRO”! This a Great thing for the WCW/NWO/WWE fans! Plus a Great way for DDP to return to the WWE!”

Initial plans for the DVD set called for it to focus on the first two “seasons” of the program. DDP, however, noted that it will cover the entire duration of Nitro, from 1995 to 2001.

He wrote, “I’m already getting hit with Questions! Ha! This “Best of Nitro” is a DVD box collection that will include the years 95/96, 97/98 & 99/2001.”

The Best of Nitro is tentatively scheduled for release on May 24, 2010.
