More Details On William “Paul Bearer” Moody’s Passing, Final Public Appearance In Wheel Chair

PWMania.com is starting to receive more details regarding the death of William Moody, aka Paul Bearer, who passed away Tuesday, March 5th at the age of 58.

A source who was with Moody at the Gulf Coast Wrestler’s Reunion this past weekend in Mobile, Alabama, said that Moody was saying he caught an upper respiratory infection in Chicago the week before. Moody was under a doctor’s care and on medication for the infection. He attended the reunion in a wheel chair due to being weak.

TMZ posted a story about Moody’s passing, and stated that while the cause of his death is unclear, “he reportedly suffered from serious health problems over the past decade … including morbid obesity and gallbladder issues.”
