Details On WrestleMania 29′s Sell Out & Tickets, Early Box Office Results For WWE’s “The Call”

wrestlemania29b

- As PWMania.com previously reported, WWE WrestleMania 29 on April 7th, 2013 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey is officially sold out with a total gate of $11 million. There is a very likely possibility of more seats being opened up closer to the show when production is setup. This is the farthest advance sell out of a WrestleMania event in a few years.

- Deadline.com has some of the initial Friday box office results for WWE Studios’ The Call starring Halle Berry with David Otunga in a supporting role.

The movie looks to be having a strong opening weekend and will likely open as the #2 film for the period. The film grossed $6.2 million on Friday and is projected to make $16.7 million for the weekend. Disney’s Oz The Great and Powerful will likely remain number one. The Call is projected to beat The Incredible Burt Wonderstone, a new comedy starring Jim Carrey and Steve Carell as rival Las Vegas magicians.
