DGUSA Announces Tag Tourney Matches, Tix On Sale For NC Debut

DGUSA Announces Entire Open The United Gate Tournament

PHILADELPHIA- Dragon Gate USA will finally crown its first tag team champions when the promotion returns to action in January. The titles will be known as The Open The United Gate Championship. We have all the details of the tourney, but first two important notes:

-Tickets are now on sale at www.DGUSA.tv for DGUSA’s first show in Burlington, North Carolina on April 1st.

-The www.DGUSA.tv 25% off DVDs, shirts & hats sale ends tomorrow (Tuesday) morning. This is the last time we’ll offer a sale this big for months. Now onto the tournament news:

-It will be a four team round robin tournament over three events on January 28th-30th. Each match will have a 30 minute time limit. A team will get 2 points for a win, 1 point for a draw and no points for a loss.

-After much debate, four teams have been picked. They are in no particular order:
-Naruki Doi & a mystery partner
-Ronin of Chuck Taylor & Johnny Gargano
-Warriors of CIMA & Dragon Kid
-World-1 of Masato Yoshino & PAC

-The matches in each city are:

Jan. 28th – Manhattan, NY – BB King Blues Club & Grill
CIMA & Dragon Kid vs. Masato Yoshino & PAC
Naruki Doi & X vs. Chuck Taylor & Johnny Gargano

Jan. 29th – Philadelphia, PA – The Asylum Arena (former ECW Arena)
Naruki Doi & X vs. Masato Yoshino & PAC
CIMA & Dragon Kid vs. Chuck Taylor & Johnny Gargano

Jan. 30th – Union City, NJ – The ACE Arena
CIMA & Dragon Kid vs. Naruki Doi & X
Masato Yoshino & PAC vs. Chuck Taylor & Johnny Gargano
