To further the Aces & Eights storyline, TNA President Dixie Carter wrote on her Twitter that D’Lo Brown joining Aces & Eights has cost him his job. Brown replied to the storyline firing, writing on his Twitter:
“It’s ok I got a better offer anyway… Now that I don’t have to worry about those damn office responsibles. Maybe it time I focus on restarting my previous career. #FoodForThought”
