– Edge defeated Rey Mysterio and Alberto Del Rio last night on SmackDown to earn a shot at Kane’s World Heavyweight Championship at the Survivor Series.
One other match has been announced in Wade Barrett vs. Randy Orton for the WWE Championship, with John Cena as the special guest referee.
– There is frustration among some in WWE with the “Stand Up” initiative being Vince McMahon’s top priority. They feel his mindset won’t change following next Tuesday’s election, whether Linda McMahon wins her Senate campaign or not.
