HI... I have managed to “do the impossible” and fill up my gmail email account. Since I run a small business, I can’t just delete emails because I need to save contacts and sales invoices. Nor can start a new email. Has anyone ever done this before? If you have suggestions on how to fix it, please let me know. Because of my email problems right now, I’m asking that you please don’t send e-cards…besides, I kind of hate them, to be honest.
If you want to know what I could really use for my birthday(24th), I love Amazon.com & Victoria’s Secret gift certificates. I’m getting ready for a month on the road in countries where protein in an afterthought (and one of the girls already warned me “the catering sucks a$$, plan on gaining 15 lbs”) so I need to stock up on traveling items I can’t find like jerky, protein bars and obscure outfits to shoot in.

This Weekend: Murphy's Law in unabashed action...
Speaking of obscure outfits, I had a couple of photo shoots this weekend... These were the worst I’ve been on in a long time in terms of comfort and things going wrong.
Shoot #1: When we arrived on location, it was boarded up. So we had to improvise and shot under an overpass with 2 homeless guys trying to sleep on a crate right next to us. It was also very dirty and dusty and my bags, shoes and body were covered in soot. Needles, broken bottles and spider bites. On the up side, my photographer was a super hot former Asian model. Oh, you know got some pix of her, too!
Shoot #2: A True Blood vampire shoot. Wow, everything that could go wrong DID. I was totally eaten alive by swarms of mosquitoes since the cemetery was on a river bed, dog quips (Cosmo 'mouthed off' to Joey's dog), misbehaving fangs that kept popping off making the shoot take 50x longer than it should have...I have to retouch about 40 bites on my skin, half of which are on my chest...how appropriate for a vamp shoot, right? I’m still itchy! This one shoot had 2 locations and 2 completely different makeup and hair changes so it was a long day. The things we all do for entertainment and art. ;)
But the photos turned out pretty EXCELLENT. Very sexy & strong! See a few samples above…the set (with video!) will be posted on www.aprilhunter.com asap! Well, as soon as I retouch all the bug bites and sooty toes.
So, my birthday is Thursday. I'm thinking of blowing it off. I don't see the point. It's depressing, I think, with so much going on (long story.) I am upset, exhausted, bummed out, worn down and not coping very well. I hate admitting that, but I have a low tolerance for questions and demands right now, so if I haven’t gotten back to you, please forgive me. I am just having a lot of family/home problems and I feel like I’m losing everyone around me that I care about. Plus all my energy is going into doing what must get done right now and training for my Figure contests. I just bought my mom 6 months worth of HBO and Showtime with a DVR box. She wouldn't pay for that herself and I can't really afford it either, but she's too sick to leave the house for very long with chemotherapy…! and she loves movies and TV, and can’t always stay awake to catch what she wants to watch…so...that's what I got her for an early Christmas present. I’ll be up there with her next week for a visit. Which is another reason I need to get my email sorted.
Check out the movie "Just Another Love Story". Highly recommend! It's a foreign crime thriller (Danish?), but there are so many plot twists and enough sex that I think it would keep even the most defiant about reading subtitles quite interested.
I'm up in PA the weekend of Oct 3rd & 4th for big autograph convention in Valley Forge/Oaks. I hope to see some of you there. I have a photo shoot this weekend in Ohio, so if you have requests or ideas, let me know!

I want you to be healthy! I’m alarmed that while I’m hearing about vaccines and surgical masks, no one is talking about what you can do to boost your immune system so you don’t get sick at all. Here are a few things you can do to stay well:
-Vitamin D! Get outside in the sun 20-30 minutes a day.
-Take a pro biotic supplement. Fairly inexpensive at the health food store.
-Get more SLEEP. Get an extra hour or so a night.
-Eat blueberries! Frozen as a snack, in cereal or yogurt or added to pancakes or just drizzled with honey and walnuts…And plums, oranges and goji berries, too.
-Add more raw fruits and veggies to your diet. Even just one apple every day will make a difference.
-Drink more water, teas & eat your protein.
-Take an Omega 3 supplement. Consider an amino acid supplement, too.
-Add herbs! Add lemon, garlic, oregano, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, peppermint, raw honey & eucalyptus to your foods.
-Sneeze into the crook of your elbow instead of your hand.
-Wash up often -- and avoid shaking hands. Fist bump, anyone?
-Wipe down phones, keyboards and remote controls.
-Cut down on (or OUT) processed sugar, alcohol, soda, coffee, smoking and bad lifestyle choices. They take a toll on your system and leave little energy and resources left over to fight colds and flues.
-Have more fun, have more sex, and have more LAUGHS!
