Backstage 1000th RAW News, Eve Torres Returns, WWE vs. TNA
- Eve Torres made her return to WWE on Raw this week. Torres was backstage at Raw last week but wasn’t used. She has been absent from WWE TV during the past few weeks was due to the fact that she was filming a new NBC competition series titled “Stars Earn Stripes.” She is one of eight celebrities appearing on the show, which features celebrities competing in tough military training exercises under the supervision of retired U.S. General Wesley Clark. The show premiers with a two-hour episode on Monday, August 13 at 8PM ET, which will run against WWE Raw.
- A new advertisement promoting RAW’s move to three hours starting July 23rd is online at EW.com. Expect to see WWE in more media on this in the coming weeks.
- According to a WWE source, the company are planning to bring in numerous former talents for the 1,000th RAW. The show will be stacked from top to bottom and is being treated like a free pay-per-view event.
