Matches Set For ROH San Antonio Return, Ciampa’s International Defense, Final Battle DVD

– Ring of Honor has announced five new matches for their 2/8 “State of the Art” event which will take place in San Antonio, Texas, headed by a huge 4-Way-Match which will pit “Mr. Wrestling” Kevin Steen vs. ROH World TV Champion, Tommaso Ciampa vs. Jay Lethal vs. “Unbreakable” Michael Elgin. The match has been set up so that ROH Matchmaker Nigel McGuinness can weigh his options on future number one contenders to the ROH World Championship.

Other matches announced include The Decade’s Jimmy Jacobs taking on Cedric Alexander and BJ Whitmer facing newcomer Raymond Rowe. Mark Briscoe will face Michael Bennett with Maria Kanellis in his corner, plus Jay Briscoe will hold an open challenge for the “Real ROH World Championship”.

Other matches made prior to this announcement include Adam Cole defending the ROH World Championship against the winner of Paul London vs. Roderick Strong this coming Saturday in Pittsburgh, PA. Plus, Adrenaline RUSH face ROH World Tag Team Champions, reDRagon in a Proving Ground Match.

– If he can retain the title through until March 2, Tommaso Ciampa will mark his second international defense of the ROH World TV Championship when he puts it on the line against United Kingdom’s Kris Travis for English promotion Southside Wrestling. The match will air on an episode of Ring of Honor Wrestling.

– Final Battle 2013 is now available on DVD from ROHWrestling.com. The event saw Adam Cole defend the ROH World Championship in a Triple Threat match against Jay Briscoe and Michael Elgin, plus Eddie Edwards’ farewell, Matt Taven’s defense of the ROH World TV Championship against Tommaso Ciampa and Kevin Steen vs. Michael Bennett in a Stretcher Match.
