Former ECW Champion Retiring, Shelly Martinez On Funny or Die
– Jerry Lynn announced at Friday’s Pro Wrestling Syndicate Supercard 2012 event in Rahway, New Jersey that he would be retiring from wrestling competition at the of 2012. Lynn attributes his decision to age as it’s harder to get his body to do what he wants it to do as well as so he can enjoy the quality of life.
Lynn, who began his wrestling career in 1988, has worked for Extreme Championship Wrestling, World Championship Wrestling, World Wrestling Federation, Total Nonstop Action Wrestling and Ring of Honor. He is a two-time world champion, having won the ECW World Heavyweight Championship once and the ROH World Championship once.
