- Ring of Honor has announced that former ROH World Champion and ECW World Heavyweight Champion, Jerry Lynn will be appearing before Field of Honor for an autograph signing, making his first public wrestling appearance since he retired last year. Lynn was backstage at Ring of Honor’s first live pay-per-view Best in the World on June 22 and was said to have worked in a “road agent-esq” role, advising the talents on their matches and suggesting finishes and sequences. Jerry was sporting a new look, having cut his signature long hair. Lynn formerly worked for ROH between 2009 and 2011, upsetting Nigel McGuinness to become ROH World Champion which he would later lose to Austin Aries. His final ROH match took place at Final Battle 2012 when he lost to Michael Bennett and was presented with a plaque for his contributions to pro-wrestling and Ring of Honor.
Lynn joins others such as AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, Maria Kanellis and Michael Bennett for the pre-Field of Honor autograph signing this Friday from MCU Park in Brooklyn, New York.
