Ex-WCW Star Hospitalized, The Rock’s New Movie, No Holds Barred
- On this day back in 2011, Edge vacated the World Heavyweight Title and announced that he was forced to retire due to injury.
- The Rock will reportedly star in a new movie called Lore, a “hybrid of traditional narrative and graphic novel.” The movie sounds like a fantasy type of movie and Vulture.com reports that it will do for monsters what Men In Black did for aliens. No word yet on when filming will begin.
- WWE Studios’ re-release of No Holds Barred with Hulk Hogan will be on DVD format only. The movie will be released through all retailers on July 3rd.
- Former WCW star Scotty Riggs was hospitalized this past week for stomach ulcers.
