Has Kharma Been Released By WWE? – Says She’s Now An Alumna

Kharma’s tenure with WWE could very well be over.

After WWE’s official Twitter account moved her profile to its Alumni list along with other recently departed talent, including Nikki and Brie Bella, speculation concerning her employment status was raised on the micro-blogging website.

In response, the accomplished female grappler wrote, “Getting a flood of dm’s. I guess the cat’s out of the bag. Yes. I have been officially promoted to the alumni section of the WWE roster.”

Her profile, however, remains listed in the Raw talent index on WWE.com.

Kharma, whose real name is Kia Stevens, joined WWE in December 2010 and made her debut on May 1, 2011 at Backlash. Weeks later, Kharma spoke for the first time to reveal she was pregnant and thus forced to take a leave of absence from the organization. After having lost her baby, Kharma made a surprise return in the 2012 Royal Rumble Match as the twenty-first entrant. She has not appeared on television since.
