– Today is former WWE Women’s Champion The Kat’s birthday. She turns 40 years old.
– It was reported Sunday that WWE performer Taryn Terrell (a/k/a Tiffany) had been cleared of assault charges stemming from a domestic disturbance between her and husband Drew Galloway (a/k/a Drew McIntyre) last month in Los Angeles, California. Regarding a return to WWE airwaves, the official word is that creatively, the company does not know how they will reintroduce her character.
– Kia Stevens (a/k/a Awesome Kong), who officially parted ways with TNA Wrestling in March, has not been offered a contract by World Wrestling Entertainment, reports the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
WON suggests that WWE officials may feel she’s mentally unstable given the nature of her departure from TNA Wrestling and story of an attempted suicide.
