– Former WWE star Ken Shamrock appeared very sickly and haggard at last Saturday’s “Legends of the Ring” convention in Monroe, New Jersey. The reason for this is because he recently came down with MRSA (Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus) while taking care of his son, who had been hospitalized for a week due to the same bacterial infection. For the safety of himself and others, the 47-year-old was asked by doctors to withdraw from his scheduled mixed martial arts fight for World Extreme Fighting last month. He was also placed on antibiotics for several weeks.
