WWC: October 17 Results, Bayamon

WWC held their October 17 event at the Pepin Cestero Arena at Bayamon. Havoc, of the WWC Forum, reported the action as follow:
1-Maurice deefated Mr. X with a small package after X missed hitting Maurice with his loaded boot.
2-Thunder & Lightning vs. The AMerican Family for the WWC Tag Team titles ended with a no contest. The American Family used chairs to attack Thunder & Lightning and knocked them, so Jose Chaparro ordered them to unmask Lightning, but they ended unmasking both, so referee called a no contest as basically the match never started. Security and referees hide their identities.
3-Rikochet defeated Tommy Diablo with a surfing board.
4-Chicky Starr deefated Jose Chaparro. Starr accidentally hits the referee when he tried to use his bat on Chaparro, who ducked it. Another referee came. Chaparro took Starr's shirt off, spread salt on his back and used a pant belt to attack Starr's back. Starr lowblowed Chaparro and got the belt. Chaparro tried to extract powder but kicked his hands so Chaparro ended being blinded and then was Starr used his baseball bat again and won the match after using the bat on Chaparro. Celebration was really short as American Family came and attacked him. They spread honey on Starr and used used feathers to cover Starr.
5-Abbd deefated BJ on a controversial manner. Basically a scientific match, but then Abbad took a chair and extracted a knux. When he was about to use the object on BJ, the referee stop him and took the object from him. When referee was handling that object to the security crew, BJ wanted to use the chair on Abbad, who surprised him with a low blow. Then took the chair from BJ and used it against BJ, knockinh BJ and scored the victory. An angry BJ took the microphone and challenged Abbad to a street fight match to determine the #1 contender of the Universal Title. Victor Jovica came in and said he is not convinced the way Abbad won the match to determine the top contender, so he determines to celebrate a TLC 3 way match to determine the top contender for the Universal Title, adding Noriega on the match, that will take place at the October 31 Halloween Xtravaganza Night at Bayamon.
After the intermission Orlando Colon came in with his valet Debbie Rose and began to say that he retired Ray Gonzalez. He called fans loosers saying that they were at the National Movement that was celebrated on 10/15 against the local government for firing over 16000 people of their gubernamental work, that this will no fix nothing and they were like Ray Gonzalez, crying at home for not having a job. He began to insult Tito Trinidad, saying that Trinidad cost his mask and match ant Anniversary 2009. he began to talk about what he will be doing to Shane later tonight, but there and then Ray Gonzalez's music was played. Ray was at the building! ray asked Orlando who has retired him, as he was there and that is he missed some action for the last weeks, was due to health problems. Then Ray challenged Orlando to a match at Halloween Xtravaganza. Orlando remembered Ray that he is not 100% recovered so if Ray wanted a match, his hair must be at stake. Ray told him to hold on a moment, took his mobile phone and did a phone call. He ended the call and replied that since Orlando have Debbie Rose at his corner, he will have non other that Tito Trinidad at his corner at the 10/31 WWC event.
6-Hiram Tua & Ricky Reyes deefated Carlitos & Angel when Tua pinned Carlitos using ropes as leaverage. After match action took place between Carlitos and Tua over the building.
7-Shane defeated Orlando Colon by DQ so that way he retained the Universal Title. Orlando's left knee was attacked by Shane at the early stages of the match, with Orlando taking offensice later. Later Debbie entertained the referee so Orlando extracted a knux but Shane ducked the hit. Shane applied the rock buttom and the object falls from Orlando's hands. Shane took it but Debbie 'fought' with him and finally get that object. Then Orlando applied the figure 4 leglock and Shane inverted the move, but Orlando reached the ropes, so Shane had to release Orlando. Shane attacked Orlando for a while until for everybody's surprise Orlando throwed fire to Shane's face, causing the DQ. |
