J.R. Denies Lesnar Return Rumors, Tentative Plans For Benoit Film



– Jim Ross denied online rumors that Brock Lesnar is returning to World Wrestling Entertainment.

“Lesnar to WWE rumor unfounded,” he wrote on Twitter. “However if it happens for WM27 it would be huge 4 WWE.”

– A WWE spokesman confirmed to NewsDay.com that Sunday’s Raw live event at Madison Square Garden drew 13,600 fans. Jim Ross previously reported that the event drew 15,000 fans.

– SRG Films has signed an agreement with Richard O’Sullivan to do create a movie on the life and death of Chris Benoit. Half of the $7 million budget is said to have been raised so if the other half is raised, the movie would be filmed in 2011.
