WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross was the latest guest on the Steve Austin Show, in which he sat down with his longtime friend and had the opportunity to speak on his recent retirement among other topics.

Regarding his retirement, Ross said, ”I’m not going to go out and buy a rocking chair because I don’t want to be sitting on a chair on the porch rocking and watching the world go by.” Ross continued, “”I like to say that 61 is the new 41. I’m feeling good, I’m healthy, I want to be doing some other things without question, so I’m not going to go away, I’m just not going to be in WWE any longer.” Ross added that the one accomplishment he would love to add to his career is to call The Undertaker’s last match, “whenever that is,” in the words of the former commentator.

Ross also commented on the much-speculated possibility of The Undertaker wrestling in a match at WrestleMania XXX. He said, ”I haven’t heard anything to the contrary. If he has another match at WrestleMania, on my bucket list of things I would love to do to bring everything full circle, it would be to be a part of that broadcast because I think The Streak is about as big a part of WrestleMania right now in today’s marketplace as anything they could book.”
