John Cena Injured At Night of Champions, Photo Included
WWE star John Cena revealed that he suffered a left ankle injury during his match against C.M. Punk at the Night of Champions pay-per-view. Cena noted on Twitter that he rolled the ankle early in the match.
After the injury occurred John Cena rolled out of the ring and took a few seconds to compose himself before getting back in the ring and wrestling for for nearly 20 minutes on his injured ankle. He is not expected to miss any ring time because of the injury.
Cena posted the following with a photo:
“Wild night tonight, nuthing to do now but move forward. This is my left ankle. It was rolled early in match… Thru all the bumps and bruises, a heartfelt thanks to all those supporting #riseabovecancer thank u.”
