- John Cena posted his first tweet this morning following victory over The Rock at last night’s WrestleMania pay-per-view, writing on his Twitter, “Good morning @twitter @WWE @twitter_es heading into @S_C_ town to start our new season! #RTime=NOW #TheChampIsHere”
– Over the weekend GI Joe: Retaliation slipped from the top spot at the U.S. box office, dropping to #2. The movie took in $21.1 million, bringing it’s domestic total to $86.7 million. It grossed an additional $40.2 million overseas, bringing its worldwide total to $231.9 million.
– Dolph Ziggler was asked if he knew when he would cash in the Money in the Bank briefcase during an interview with CBS-19 in Cleveland.
“Honestly, no,” Ziggler admitted. “It’s anytime. [On] Monday, [when] everyone’s like ‘yay, we did so great yesterday, let’s talk about how great we did.’ Boom! Maybe that’s my time to strike, you never know.”
– Alberto Del Rio discussed why he doesn’t drive a car to the ringside anymore during an interview with CBS-19 in Cleveland.
“That’s because last time I was driving one of my cars, I ran over Santa, remember?,” Del Rio said. “That’s the reason I’m not planning on driving… at least in a year or two.”
