Jon Moxley & Johnny Gargano Interview Recap

PWMania.com reader Susan Frizzell sent the following:

Recently Dragon Gate USA’s Jon Moxley and Johnny Gargano appeared on Low Blow Radio to promote DGUSA’s upcoming IPPV “Code Of The Warrior” on Go Fight Live. The following are hilights from the interview…

When asked about their experiences with DGUSA the two replied…

Johnny Gargano…

“Oh it’s been awesome. I was actually on the first DGUSA show. Seems like so long ago. Since then I’ve really come up the rankings as far the the DGUSA roster goes. For this upcoming IPPV I’m ready to rock and role and make a name for myself in DGUSA!”

Jon Moxley…

It’s awesome. It’s a fresh product which you can’t see anywhere else. You’ve got the best wrestlers in the United States mixed with the best wrestlers from Japan and around the world. It’s very much like a melting pot of styles. Defiantly the fastest paced, hardest hitting action you’ll see anywhere. My experience has been great so far and I’m just going to keep rolling.”

When asked about their participation in the upcoming IPPV (Code Of The Warrior) the two responded…

Johnny Gargano…

(No specific match booked yet) We’re going to have to wait and see what happens. We’re going to get what we get. It’s live IPPV and I know everyone’s going to be bringing their A game. Everyone’s going to be trying to impress there live. This is probably DGUSA’s biggest show ever and everyone’s going to be bringing it as will I”

Jon Moxley…

Well I have an I-Quit match with Jimmy Jacobs. I’m going to whip his ass! He going to say I quit in front of the whole world on pay per view. He going to give it up. This is for bragging rights more than anything. There aren’t any titles on the line or anything. It’s all for bragging rights. I’ve already whooped his ass a few times but he keep getting back up. My one regret is letting him get back up and this time I’m going to finish the job. He’s going to say I quit and he’s not coming back.”

When asked about the DGUSA draft the two answered…

Johnny Gargano…

“There’s going to be a draft on the IPPV. Each stable is going to get to pick another guy to join their stable and I myself think I’d be perfect for the number one overall pick.”

Jon Moxley…

(Brought up his Kamikaze stable where Johnny Gargano asked if he was his choice. The two went back and forth about this one but things don’t appear to promising as far as Gargano entering Kamikaze is concerned according to Moxley)
