JR Having Heart Surgery, Lita Working On TV Show, NXT Update

– WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross posted a note on his Twitter page that he will be undergoing heart surgery in the near future to have a stent put in one of his heart arteries. Ross wrote:

“I’m going to be fine. I’m very positive and will remain such. My overall health is better than it has been in years… No, my heart stent wasn’t expected, but no hill for a stepper. Short hospital stay if all goes well Monday and it will.”

The procedure is not considered to be too invasive and Ross downplayed the seriousness of the situation, promising to be at an Oklahoma University football game in the near future.

— WWE has confirmed that the remainder of NXT Season 3 will air on the official company website starting next Tuesday night. Next week will see the first Diva elimination.

— Former WWE Diva Lita is working on a new TV show that is a “horror-based stage show.” Lita is featured in the new issue of Rebel Ink Magazine, which says that Lita is “shooting a TV pilot for the horror-based stage show she performs, near her home base in the ATL area.”
