- WWE.com camera crews caught up with new Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston after last night’s episode of Main Event. Kofi said The Miz talking trash about him brought out a different side that he needed to capture the gold. Kofi talked about Legends who carried the white Intercontinental Title belt and said he’s ready to fill those shoes.

- The WWE SmackDown crew has arrived in Cairo, Egypt and are preparing for WWE’s first-ever live event in the country. WWE will run three shows in Egypt this week beginning with tonight’s show. Top stars in Egypt include Sheamus, Big Show, Alberto Del Rio, Dolph Ziggler, Kofi Kingston, The Miz, Zack Ryder, Jinder Mahal, Natalya and others.

With his new main event push, Ryback was removed from the Egypt tour and added to the RAW tour. He will be main eventing all weekend RAW live events against CM Punk. The RAW tour kicks off on Friday night in Trenton, New Jersey. Punk will have Paul Heyman in his corner as he faces Ryback in a Last Man Standing match. Other matches for this weekend’s RAW live events are Sin Cara vs. Antonio Cesaro and Primo & Epico vs. Kane & Daniel Bryan.
