Latest News And Details On Bobby Eaton Going Missing

Regarding the story about wrestling legend Bobby Eaton going missing, indy wrestler Matt Sigmon posted the following update on Facebook:

What a weekend! I’ve had several hundred messages asking about the Bobby Eaton situation, so I wanted to get on here & post a few things. It’s a lot easier than writing individually.

Firstly, I believe everyone should make it a goal in life to be loved as much as Bobby. I’ve never seen such an outpouring of love for someone. He was astounded by all of the tweets/posts made by so many awesome people.

Bobby had missed his connecting Delta flight in Atlanta Thursday night, lost his phone (with all of his contacts in it) & started having some blood sugar related issues. He got a bit confused & didn’t have a way to contact anyone. He toughed it out (for around 20 hours!) & spent time in the concourse near the Flyburger (which Bobby said had great food!…for an airport).

Once fully aware of the situation, the ATL police made it top priority & searched the concourses until they tracked him down around 11:30 pm Friday night. When we found him, we (myself w/Brian Thompson & Bobby’s sister on the phone) decided I would take him with me (no more airplanes!), which turned into a fun 5 hour road trip to the Church Hill, Tennessee that I will never forget. Even after his crazy day, he stayed awake with me the whole drive laughing & telling stories.

He is now in Tennessee & feeling great! He will be spending time with his good friends Jeff Tankersly & Ricky Morton for a bit before heading home with Brian.

Special thanks to Sergeant Carrie Jones Hall & her team at the Atlanta airport. They worked hard to help us in one of the largest/craziest environments in the country & followed up with me last night to check on Bobby. Also thanks to my buddy Larry Mitchell, who is now a deputy in the area & helped me in the airport during the search.

I appreciate everyone’s kind messages to me personally as well. I was only helping a friend in need & Bobby would have done the same (if not more) for me or anyone reading this. The world needs more like him!
