Latest Update On Nixed CM Punk Angle, Jim Ross Comments On Titus O’Neil’s WWE Future

- PWMania.com reported that there was a plan in place for Bad News Barrett to inform the Chicago fans at last Monday’s RAW that CM Punk was not there but that angle was nixed. The idea suggested internally was for Barrett to say, “HE isn’t here” and not actually name CM Punk.

– WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross has updated the Q&A section on JRsBarBQ.com and was asked if he thinks Titus O’Neil will be WWE World Heavyweight Champion by next year. JR replied:

“Time will tell. Titus has potential and needs to keep making positive strides. I like him as a TV Wrestling villain.”

Let’s see what titus can do. If he wants to be a top heel, he’s has a bit of work.

Titus will not be WWW Champion in the next year. He is behind Cena, Orton, Batista, Bryan, Reigns, Cesaro and others. I could see him getting an intercontinental run much like Ezekiel Jackson but he’s got a lot of work to do.

Titus will not be WWE champ because the WWE has never had a black athlete as WWE champion. Do not say “The Rock was” because he has always been billed as Samoan. Booker T, Mark Henry, etc. have all been World Heavyweight champions but never WWE champions
