Layla Returns At Extreme Rules, New Champions, PPV Attendance

– 14,817 was the announced attendance at tonight’s WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view from the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. The show was sold out.

– Cody Rhodes beat Big Show in a Tables Match at tonight’s WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view to win the WWE Intercontinental Championship. The finish saw Show break a table when he stepped on it.

– Layla returned to WWE at tonight’s Extreme Rules pay-per-view, winning the WWE Divas Championship. Layla actually pinned Brie Bella when “twin magic” failed.

Layla was been off WWE TV since suffering a torn ACL and MCL in her right knee at the same pay-per-view last year that required surgery to repair.
