Legendary Japanese Wrestler Tiger Mask Added To WWE’s Alumni Superstar Profile

As PWMania.com previously reported, legendary Japanese pro wrestler Tiger Mask has been added to WWE.com’s Alumni Superstars profile. WWE is honoring the original holder of the gimmick character, Satoru Sayama. Sayama is a 3-time WWF Junior Heavyweight Champion, and the only holder of the title to simultaneously hold the NWA Junior Heavyweight Championship. He is also the founder of Real Japan Pro Wrestling.

Along with the new profile, which follows his career primarily from Japan, WWE.com has posted several of his classic matches, with opponents that include Eddie Gilbert, Dynamite Kid, Mr. Saito and Bret “The Hitman” Hart.
