Lesnar… Hows about no!

Hey there folks Dave Scott here for some usual Monday banter. I was going to write tonight about my Smackdown live experience from last week but I have decided to abandon that idea and instead I am going to write about what happened last night at Extreme Rules. I thought overall the show was good with a lot of solid matches, however one match I really did not like was Cena and Lesnar.

Cena and Lesnar I thought was going to be a brawl, but to be honest I felt like I was just watching Lesnar stiff Cena for twenty minutes, which is not something I want to see. I know the whole thing is about Lesnar bringing legitimacy to the company but I don’t want to see a guy getting elbowed in the head until he is gushing of blood. I felt the match was very uncomfortable to watch and slightly disturbing and if I was any of those guys in the back I would not want to step in the ring with Lesnar.

I know that Cena won in the end but he literally got absolutely battered for that whole match, it was not legitimacy at all, it was just a guy who used to wrestle that thinks he can just walk straight back into the company and be an absolute prick. I’ve never felt like this from watching a single match in my life and I have been watching wrestling for over twenty years now and I just feel like it was far to much. If that is how Lesnar is going to wrestle, I can honestly say I won’t feel comfortable watching it.

I know a lot of people will disagree with me on this and maybe think I’ve just been sucked the whole thing, but I don’t think anyone can say that Lesnar didn’t throw in a lot of stiff shots and wasn’t intending on hurting Cena.

All in all I want to see wrestling and last night was not wrestling what so ever. I’ll take Cena dominating everyone in the company over what I watched last night.

Disagree with me? Agree with me? Let me know and comment below or on twitter.

I know it is a short one this week but that is me, hopefully I don’t have to sit through something like that again and hopefully Lesnar will calm the hell down.

Cheers.
